Stay Safe

Friendly tips for moving around the city and the event — look out for each other.

City & getting around

• Use public transport or your bike whenever possible.
• Most spots are within walking distance of each other.
• Watch out for trams, crossings and moving traffic.
• Use official crossings and respect traffic signs.
• Move between spots considerately and keep sidewalks clear.
• Respect residents, shops and public institutions.
• Allow enough time to get from one programme point to the next.
• In an emergency: 112 (EU emergency number).

Street etiquette — six simple rules

• Pedestrians first — slow down, communicate and be considerate.
• No weaving through crowds — keep paths clear and stay aware of your surroundings.
• Respect the spots — no litter, no unnecessary damage.
• Respect residents and businesses — we are guests in the city.
• Let everyone ride — no snaking, no pushing in, keep it fair.
• Look out for each other — especially beginners, younger skaters and anyone after a fall.

On site

• Drink enough water and take breaks.
• Protect yourself from sun and heat.
• Stay aware of your surroundings — the spots remain public spaces.
• Keep rescue routes, driveways and entrances clear at all times.
• Follow the instructions of volunteers, staff and security.
• Use the bins provided and keep the spots clean.
• Drink responsibly and look after your friends.
• Report dangerous situations or damage directly to the event team.
• Respect event infrastructure, obstacles and technical equipment.
• Listen to your body — nobody has to go home injured.
• Leave every spot cleaner than you found it.

Landhausplatz

• The monument and the main entrance of the Landhaus are not skate surfaces.
• Please respect these areas and help keep them clear throughout the event.
• Only together can we keep unique places like this usable for skateboarding in the long term.
